The residents get their own interns and the inevitable problems that come with them: Turk is too heavy-handed, J.D. fails to assert his authority, and Elliot continues to deal with her own insecurities. J.D. reluctantly accepts help from Sean.

If it helps anyone looking for the right episode, "My White Whale" (3x03) opens with Elliot and Sean having breakfast at SeaWorld then Cox and Jordan speaking to a pediatrician with a puppet. "My Dirty Secret" (3x09) starts with JD trying out the nickname Black Whale for Turk. The mixup probably is because 3x09 has prod code 303, and the whale thing.
